Distance Learning – Week 1

Here we go!  Week 1 of teaching from home.  This will be a learning process for all of us.  In this post you will a link to our week 1 work schedule as well as our week 1 ZOOM schedule. I have broken the work schedule down on a daily basis, but students are able to complete the work at their own pace. Week Three – Student Perspective

“This week, in PAA we started out projects.  Some people are doing paracord, some are doing doodling, some are doing sewing and stop-motion. The grade7’s are focusing on the elections of Canada in social. Most of the students started their good copy of doing Heida art. Our class started a google slide on the Native monsters in ELA.  In vocabulary this week, we finished our first spelling test and started new words. Week Two

We have just finished week two and it has been a very smooth (but busy) nine days.  Out first couple of days were spent going over the basic routines and procedures at school.  Some of these expectations were new to our students, but they were embraced with respect and maturity. I am absolutely in awe at the diversity we have in our classroom.  We have students from every corner of the world, and it has been extremely inspiring to hear all of these children get to know one another, and share their stories. First Week of School- Student Perspective
